The SAP Competency Group is organized into the following areas


IT Applications Functional Areas


    IT Applications Functional Areas refers collectively to the customer-focused units listed below, each unit providing services as a Competence Center for a specific functional area.
• Marketing Information Systems (MIS)
• Financial Information Systems (FIS)
• Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
• Supply Management Information Systems (SMIS)

Technology: SAP R/3 - HR, SAP FI/CO, SEM, BCS, SAP SRM etc.


IT Applications F&A, IT and Logistics (FIL) Competence Center

IT Applications FIL Competence Center provides Enterprise Resource Planning services to Philips PDs and/or Philips partners. This is further classified into three sub groups Supply Chain Execution, Sales Management and FICO.

Technology: SAP R/3 FI/CO, SD, MM, PP, CRM etc.


IT Applications Service Lines (SL)

    IT Applications Service Lines is a major unit within IT Applications, consisting of the teams listed below.
• SL Business Warehousing
• SL Security and Authorization (like SL Basis, SL Development)
• SL Development & Enterprise Application Integration (EAI)
• SL Basis
• SL Data Management
• SL Development
• SL Managed Operations (MO)
