Madhusudhan Karupakula
Program Manager

“It has been a satisfying journey of 15years. I believed in pursuing what I was interested in. Philips has given me the opportunity to work in different groups, places and teams. Whenever there was an opportunity my Manager approached me and I was lucky to have found them capturing my interest. Also, Philips balances its employee interests and business well. I have never found the need to seek opportunities outside”

Janardhan Kamath
Senior Program Manager

“My stint in various roles in the last 15 years has given me a rich experience base. I have learnt a lot in working as part of various cross functional groups on multiple programs and interacting with internal and external customers. It has been a very satisfying and humbling experience to know you are part of a team and play an important role in delivering valuable clinical capabilities to extend the medical practitioner’s ability to save lives and improve patient care. It is this satisfaction that what I do every day at work at Philips, touches someone’s life in a positive way somewhere, that has driven me for 15 years and will continue to do so for years to come.”

Dr Payal Keswarpu
Principal Scientist

“I joined PIC in 2007. As a qualified doctor with a post graduate diploma in pathology, and a special interest in oncology and women’s diseases, I started as a Senior Research Scientist at Philips with a mission to make medical technology accessible, affordable and available to all. PIC has enabled me to pursue my mission. I am currently working in the area of oncology targeting solutions in healthcare devices that help detect diseases early, that is simple to work with and easily available.”

Shivakumar KR
Fellow & Lead Architect

“I joined Philips Healthcare an interesting and reasonably complex domain in 1997. The organization has helped me realize my long cherished dream to work across sectors with focus on emerging markets. As an engineer my take on any problem is that engineering convenience and technology should come last. What is of importance is to understand the subtle differences in customer needs while remaining focused on the simplicity of the solution.”

Chitra Sukumar
Director, Interventional and Diagnostic X Ray

“I have been working at PIC for over 12 years. It has been an amazing journey from Consumer Lifestyle to heading the X-ray divison in Healthcare. Each project had its own challenges and the role I have played - varied and challenging. The best thing about PIC is that it offers a wide range of opportunities for everyone in terms of work and exposure. I consider myself lucky to have had many opportunities to learn and interact with so many people.”
