VM group, has been involved in development of DVD players and recorders, for in-house products as well as OEM customers for 9 years.


    Over the last 9 years the group has developed software solutions for

    • DVD Players - DVD Single Deck Recorders - DVD Hard Disk Combis
    • On various platforms like, ST, LSI-Domino, NXP-Chrysalis, NXP-Leco, NXP-Leco+
    • To Philips DVD product range from 1996 onwards
    • To OEM customers Yamaha, Nakamichi for DVD players
    • To OEM customers Sony and B&O for DVD recorders

Handled wide range of activities from software architecture, requirements, software component creation, set-integration and product validation.

    AM group consists of business lines Personal Infotainment (PI) and Digital Audio (DA). PI group has been involved in creation of both flash and hard disk based music players for a wide range of products and on various HW/SW platforms. The PI group specializes in, software creation for small foot-print embedded products, PC-SW for embedded devices, ODM management and validation.


    DA team involved in creating the innovative wi-fi based wireless music server and clients for the Philips product range based on NXP-Melody.
