    The Test Centre activities have been split in 3 phases:
• Phase 1 - June 2006 to Dec 2006
• Phase 2 - Jan 2007 to June 2007
• Phase 3 - July 2007 to Dec 2007

    Phase 1: Philips-Philips HDMI Interoperability
• CP Validation activities will be augmented with HDMI competencies
• Goal 1: Achieve Philips-Philips HDMI Interoperability
• Establish contacts and Build the organization
• Steering Board installation- Charter & Responsibilities
• Develop a website for Registration of Products & Sharing Info
• Collate all knowledge in sites and define the Test Standard
• Build HDMI competency - Test Exercises on current products
• Perform Certification Tests for Philips-Philips Interoperability
• Goal 2: Generic Compliance & Interoperability
• Develop competency in defining generic Requirement Specs for Interoperability and baseline the first set of Requirements
• Define Tools Requirements & build Phase 1 tools

    Phase 2: Philips-Competitor Interoperability
• Goal 1: Continue CP Competency based Standardization and Testing activities- DLNA, WiFi, UPnP, Streams, Services etc.
• Goal 2: Perform Interoperability Certification Tests for Philips - Competitor Products for DLNA, WiFi, UPnP and HDMI/HDCP/DVI
• Augment the Phase 1 lab with a representative set of Competitor Top Brands
• Build Phase 2 tools, extending Phase 1 tools

    Phase 3: Philips - Competitor Interoperability USB included
• Goal 1: Standardardization activities for HDMI/HDCP
• Actively participate in HDMI Forums
• Organize plugfests
• Accreditation of ICC from HDMI Forum
• Goal 2: Perform Interoperability Certification Tests for Philips - Competitor Products for USB in addition to DLNA, WiFi, UPnP & HDMI/HDCP/DVI
• Goal 3: Perform Benchmarking & Competition Analysis
• Set quantitative Interoperability Standards
• Performance Rating with respect to competition based on Platforms, Models, Features etc.
