Philips, as a member of Marlin Partnership Program (MPP) would like to contribute in the areas of Marlin implementation and testing.

Services offered by Philips:

1. Easy to integrate wrapper layer over Marlin DRM client SDK
2. Software Conformance tests for Marlin Client for BB and BNS profiles (Broadband and Broadband     Network Specification).
3. Software conformance tests on the product using remote interface.
4. End to end Product compliance tests.

Wrapper layer on the Marlin Client SDK is required to integrate it into any platforms and to implement additional functionalities. We provide wrapper layer on Marlin DRM client SDK to the companies which are interested in implementing the Marin DRM in their products. Validation of the client plays major role in Marlin DRM. To avoid the usage of content by unauthorized users, we perform tests at the different levels of the product starting from the component level to the system level. Module testing involves unit testing of the various components. Product compliance testing will check whether client implementation meets the product requirements and verifies working of all the Marlin client related functionalities. Software conformance tests are required to test the Marlin DRM client for conformance to various standards like broadband and broadband network specification.
